Three days later, Kasem was sleeping in his room and Joynab was next to him. Suddenly, someone knocked the door. Kasem got up and asked Joynab to stay inside. Kalim was also awake. Kasem asked Kalim to go to his bed. Kalim asked Kasem not to open the door but Kasem was stubborn to open the door. He opened the door. Three guys entered his house and started to beat him mercilessly. Before Kalim could help him one guy hit him with a gun and started kicking him. Joynab rushed out of her room to save his husband but Kana Babul grabbed her and took off her Sari, Joynab was trying to save herself. Kana Babul took her to the room and locked the room from inside. Joynab was unable to save herself from that animal. She was dumped down. That was a doomsday for Joynab, Kana Babul came out of the room and said to Kasem, “You mother fucker I told you stay away from me, now you have paid a big amount for that, by the way you got a nice wife man.” Kasem was almost faint and lying on the floor. But a furious anger was coming out of his soul, which gave him strength. He jumped up and tried to grab Babul’s neck. But he was unarmed and Babul had a knife. All on a sudden Babul stabbed Kasem until he falls into the ground. Kalim saw the scene, and tried to stand up on his feet. One of the guys hit on his head and he lost his sense at once.

Now Kalim is known as Kalia mastan. But he is different than a normal terrorist; he doesn’t take money from the poor, neither he is curious about girls. He is daring for the other terrorists but he is a great help for the poor. Kalim was thinking of his past, what made him a terrorist. He recalls the day when Kasem was killed, when he came to his sense, he saw Kasem lying on his blood. At once he remembered that Joynab was in her room, he ran into the room and saw Joynab hanging on the ceiling fan. Kalim didn’t spend much time; he took Joynab to the nearest hospital. Joynab hung herself with her sari, so she couldn’t kill herself that time. She lost her sense. Joynab was saved. The next two days was horrible for Kalim. Kana Babul threatened him that he will kill him if he says a single word to the Police. Kalim promised that he wouldn’t say a single word to the Police. Joynab stopped talking after that day. Kalim was also frustrated because he was scared and he knows why Joynab stopped talking to him. She thinks Kalim is a coward but what can I do when I know if I say something they will kill me. This is the rule here; to be calm when you are beaten and act like a slave.

After two weeks Kana Babul came again and he said to Kalim, “Good, you listened to me but that ass Kasem didn’t and died, where is his wife. Are you having a good time with her? Is she good in bed?” Kalim was getting out of his patience but he tried to show his normal mood. He said, “I beg you; Please leave us alone, I am never goanna say anything against you.” But Kana Babul was starving for sex; he wants Joynab. He said with his hungry eyes, “Don’t worry, we are friends, so let’s share her.” Just for tonight than she will be yours. Kalim grabbed his legs and asked for mercy, but kana Babul kicked him and said, “I was too going to pick sober with you, now I am what I want.” He went to Joynab’s room and his other friend was holding a gun on Kalim. Joynab was shouting to save herself; Kalim was enraged. A fire was lightened in Kalim’s body at that shout. He suddenly pushes the guy with his strong hand and start hitting him on his head with a brick. Kalim kept hitting until he found that the guy is dead. He picked the gun and went to the room. He shot the naked guy without any hesitation. Joynab was overwhelmed at first, when she came back in her sense, she wrapped her with the bed sheet again and said to Kalim, “ You shouldn’t stay here any longer, the Police will catch you. Go.” Kalim now understood what he has done. He was looking at Joynab and then the dead man. Kalim asked Joynab to come with him. Joynab refused to go, she said, “ This is my husband’s home. I will go when I am dead, but you have to go now. One day my husband saved you and you said how can you repay him, you did that today by saving me and killing his killers.”

After that night, Kalim ran all over the Bangladesh, and after six months he found a way to survive; who is a Boro bhi famous leader gave him shelter. Boro bhi heard about Kalim in the newspaper that he killed Kana Babul and his friend. He said to Kalim, “ If you want to live, work for me, and be my right hand, no one can touch you.” I will make you Kalia from Kalim. The whole Dhaka city will be scared of you. Kalim became Kalia soon. He was really happy because he doesn’t have to do anything that he doesn’t like to do. His job was to take care of anything that Boro bhi have problems with. One day he went to Dhanmondi to capture a building, which was captured by Nitai Gunda. He had seven people with him. Kalia wasn’t Kalim anymore. He went directly to Nitai and shoots him on his legs. There was no way Nitai could stop this brutal wild guy. Kalia said, “ I didn’t kill you because you have to say sorry to Boro bhi and another thing is I don’t kill people without giving him a chance to change his life.” Boro bhi was happy with Kalia, he knew there is fire inside Kalia and he can be a great weapon for him, he was right. Kalia was beyond of any kind of obstruction. Boro bhi asked him to stay in a comfortable place but he is staying in Kasem’s house, nobody dared to say a single word this time. Kalim smiled, “ Huh, Everybody is scared of Kalia and everybody wants to beat Kalim. How are Amina, Mina and my two other daughters?” Kalim is dead now, so I don’t have any wife or daughters, people must be thinking I am using Joynab but the fact is we don’t even talk closely. She stayed in her room most of the time and I am busy with my work. Sometimes Kalim thinks why doesn’t Joynab argue with Kalim about his works or he doesn’t care about him anymore. But Kalia knows there is a soft corner for Joynab in Kalim’s mind but Kalim is too gentle to say that to her. Kalia woke up because of the knock in his door; he took his gun from his bed and carefully said, “ Who is it?” It was news from Boro bhi. Kalia was bound to accompany that guy.
