The sky has gone dark and a blistering wind was blowing from the west with a murmuring sound, seems it’s going to blow away the poor wooden house. Mina called her mother right away to move in Chowdhury Villa which is the only brick building in this village. Amina, mother of Mina was passing her days with great hardship, was suffering of fever for three weeks. She has three daughters. Her husband Kalim MIA was anxious to have a son and on this way they had this three unwanted girls. Kalim MIA works in the match factory, which is in the town. Amina don’t like his job because she heard that Town is full of beautiful girls and they provokes man showing their hidden bodies and makes them fool.

Mina shouted again, “Mother, hurry up, the storm is coming in any minute.” Amina whispers in her mind; so what, I am facing the storm every minute and everyday. A deep breath comes out of her weak flesh. Other two kids started to cry loudly. Amina got angry upon them and slapped on their butt, she called their names, “Can’t you die you and let me die in peace too.” At this moment Mina comes forward and takes care of her sisters, she is a very nice girl and Amina’s eldest and dearest daughter. Mina sacrificed a lot for her sisters. She works in Chowdhuri Villa from morning till night and also she helps her mother to take care of her sisters. Amina went to the primary school while Kalim was the in charge of this family, but after he disappeared Mina was forced to work for her family. Amina stares at the dark cloud and think of the early days she passed.

Kalim MIA was a rickshaw driver and she was working in Chowdhuri villa. Kalim MIA used to work for Choto Chowdhury who is well known for his bad character. By born Amina have a pretty decent face and a nice stout body. She works as if she can take care of everything. Normally Amina was in observation of Chowdhury and he was waiting to fulfill his taste. The day came for him soon; the night was dark and quiet, Choto Chowdhury calls her in his bedroom and tells her to give him a massage. Amina was first hesitating but that was an order from her master, Chowdhury shouted; she couldn’t refuse. Amina was helpless that day. Choto Chowdhury took off her clothes and gave her a lot pain, something was coming out from her body and she was sinking on it just like her childhood when she used to swim in the pond with her friends. The night was too lengthy for Amina, Amina understood that she has nothing to live with and she went to kill herself. I don’t know if it’s a fate or a co-incident that Kalim was passing by and heard the sound in the river and saved Amina from a sure death. That was an auspicious day for Amina. Kalim MIA came forward and asked her to be his wife. Amina was astounded at this word. Is it possible for a man to marry a woman who is impure in her body? First, Amina didn’t agree, “I can’t be your wife because I am not pure.” Kalim had a smile in his wife, who proves his assurance to Amina, “There is nothing to pure in body, I would love someone who has a pure heart, and you didn’t do it on purpose. Chowdhry insulted you but couldn’t make you impure.” Amina decided that she would give up her everything for this man who came to her life like an angel.

Kalim quit the job for Chowdhury. Choto Chowdhury was angry upon Kalim for that and he tried to spread some bad story about Kalim and Amina but couldn’t do that much because Kalim didn’t take time to marry Amina. In Bangladesh the only way to stop a story is to get married. The interesting part was that Choto Chowdhury offered some money for their marriage but Kalim MIA refused to take the money, which made him Amina’s favorite Hero. Everything was perfect about Kalim MIA. Kalim MIA took another job in the match factory.

Amina got pregnant; Kalim’s face became pale. Amina was so ashamed of it because she knew the baby belongs to the Chowdhury, not Kalim and she was so frustrated that she asked Kalim Mia to take her to the Sadar Hospital and she wants to have an abortion. Kalim Mia slapped her and said, “Shame on you, how could you think of such a sin, you want to kill a live, who gave you the power to kill someone whom you didn’t make, Allah has given a gift and it doesn’t matter who is the media but it matters who is coming for you; this is my child and my first one who will be a piece of my heart.” That night Amina got a way to get more close to Kalim (Her dream guy), Amina was crying, Kalim hugged her and gave her a deep kiss on her forehead. That was a wonderful night for Amina.
